Ranking Member Bost Joins General Bergman in Introducing 3 Bills to Support Veterans and Caregivers

Today, Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.), the Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, and Rep. Jack Bergman (R-Mich.), the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Health, released the following statements after they introduced three key pieces of legislation to improve health care and services at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for veterans and their caregivers.

“It’s simple - these three bills will help deliver the world-class care that veterans deserve,” said Ranking Member Bost. “They would close gaps in care for veterans, strengthen services for caregivers, and increase transparency and accountability for taxpayers. I am proud to join my good friend and fellow Marine, General Bergman, in introducing them today.”

“We’re setting a new agenda for delivery of veterans health care which includes more access to services, better support for veterans and their caregivers, and sharper scrutiny of the Veterans Health Administration," said General Bergman.
