House Passes Ranking Member Bost’s THRIVE Act, Will Enhance Job Training and Education Benefits for Veterans

Today, Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.), the Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, released the following statement after the House passed his bill, H.R. 2523, the Training in High-Demand Roles to Improve Veteran Employment Act (THRIVE Act), to improve veterans’ job training and education benefits.
“When COVID-19 struck, Congress acted quickly to support veterans who were losing their jobs and needing help,” said Ranking Member Bost. “The THRIVE Act will help veterans make the most of those efforts. It will help unemployed veterans find jobs. It will also give student veterans the information they need to make the best decision about where to go to school.
